Derila Ergo Pillow Information and FAQ

Yes. The Derila Ergo Pillow is an orthopedic memory foam pillow built specifically to relieve neck pain and shoulder tension. Its butterfly-contour shape cradles your head and keeps your cervical spine aligned through the night, instead of letting your neck sink or twist the way a flat pillow does.

Standard pillows are flat and shift out of place, leaving your neck unsupported. An orthopedic pillow like the Derila Ergo is contoured to hold your head, neck, and shoulders in one consistent, spine-friendly position all night, which is why contoured designs are often recommended over flat pillows for ongoing neck pain.

The Derila Ergo Pillow's butterfly-contour design supports all three positions in one pillow. Raised wings cradle your shoulders and stop your neck tilting toward the mattress as a side sleeper (a common cause of morning neck pain), the center cradle aligns your head and spine as a back sleeper, and the low-profile zones ease neck strain if you sleep on your stomach.

A supportive pillow won't fix daytime desk posture, but the Derila Ergo Pillow helps your neck fully recover overnight by keeping it aligned while you sleep, giving the tension that builds up from sitting and screen time a chance to release instead of compounding night after night.

Keeping your head and neck properly elevated and aligned can ease mild, position-related snoring for some side sleepers. Sleep apnea, however, is a diagnosed medical condition, and the Derila Ergo Pillow is not a treatment or a substitute for CPAP therapy or professional care — if you suspect sleep apnea, please talk to a doctor.

The outer cover unzips and is machine washable on a gentle cycle with warm water — wash it every 2–4 weeks. Never machine wash or submerge the memory foam core; spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry fully before zipping the cover back on.

Not at the moment — the Derila Ergo Pillow is engineered specifically for human cervical and spinal support, so there's no pet version in the works right now. Follow us for updates in case that changes.

That's completely normal. Memory foam is compressed and vacuum-sealed before shipping so it takes up less space in transit, keeping shipping faster and more affordable. Give it up to 24 hours after unboxing to fully expand to its true shape.
